Min Jin
NZ Registered Acupuncturist
Min Jin is a registered acupuncturist with the Chinese Medicine Council of New Zealand (CMCNZ). She graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Clinical Medicine from Gansu University of Chinese Medicine in 2002, and later completed a Master's degree in Biomedical Project Management at the University of Science and Technology of China in 2013.
Before transitioning into clinical acupuncture practice in New Zealand, Min spent many years working in clinical research and project management within the field of stem cell therapy in China. She worked for four years at the Peking University Stem Cell Research Centre, followed by over a decade of experience in clinical application project management. During this time, she was involved in a number of nationally approved clinical projects, including stem cell therapies for Parkinson's disease and degenerative joint conditions, both of which progressed into clinical application. She also contributed to clinical research in areas such as spinal cord injury, autism, cardiovascular diseases, and oncology-related applications.
In 2025, she completed formal training at the New Zealand School of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine, obtaining a bachelor's degree that included over 320 hours of supervised clinical practice. Her training focused on classical Chinese medicine theory and acupuncture techniques, alongside additional approaches such as Tung-style acupuncture.
