Maddison Moffat

Osteopath

Qualifications & Background

Maddison completed a Bachelor of Musculoskeletal Health and a Postgraduate Diploma in Osteopathy at Ara Institute of Canterbury. She is registered with the Osteopathic Council of New Zealand and Osteopaths New Zealand, and is an ACC-registered provider. Born and raised in Christchurch, Maddison developed a passion for understanding the human body and movement from an early age through her lifelong involvement in sport.

My Treatment Approach

Maddison embraces osteopathy's holistic philosophy, providing individualised, patient-centred care that considers the whole body rather than just the site of pain or injury. She works with patients across a broad spectrum — from acute injuries to long-standing chronic conditions — adapting her approach to suit each person's needs, history, and goals. Her aim is always to help people return to the activities they love.

Special Interests

Maddison has a particular interest in sports-related injuries and movement-based complaints, informed by her own active lifestyle and lifelong connection to sport. She also has a genuine enthusiasm for working with children, bringing both care and patience to paediatric appointments. Whether supporting an athlete through recovery or helping a patient manage ongoing pain, Maddison brings the same commitment and warmth to every consultation.

About Me

Outside the clinic, Maddison lives an active life — you'll find her at the gym, out walking, or cheering on her favourite sports teams. A proud Christchurch local, she loves being part of a community-focused practice where she can make a real difference to people's everyday lives. She believes that a strong therapeutic relationship is the foundation of good care, and works hard to make every patient feel genuinely supported.
